interlocking. Yes!!!

I have to say, nothing compares to the feeling of being completely content in the current moment of time. Such as when I nail a chili recipe and it tastes absolutely dank and I'm showered with compliments. Or, when I feel like I just owned a run down the mountain carving the most miraculous turns as spectators above me on the chairlift look in awe and envy of my technique. It makes me feel somewhat intelligent and  noteworthy really. OR, when you make that purchase of an article of clothing and you just know that it will become a staple piece that you not only rely on 4 days of the week but also make it a notorious swagg that viewers begin to associate you with. Is that necessarily a good thing? Or just becoming dependent on one thing instead of breaching out to other aspects or errr articles of clothing? Is this a metaphor or just a disgustingly stupid rant about  my obessession with stripes and the Gap? (Totally underrated by the way). I do love stripes. Partially because I am somewhat of a prep but also because I adore the endless combinations of color and thickness each pattern encompasses. I like Gap because they do have those staple items that are totally reliable yet give enough room for you to put your own personal touch and sway on. The Gap also has almost unfair sales and markdowns. It's like a relationship with a lover really. Wait two weeks before you purchase and youll end up only paying a quarter of the price. AKA hard to get. Get it?????

white out

Sunday morning walkabout, emphasis on the pureness of fresh snow or as the ski/snowboard bums say, freshy pow pow; for all you non skiing New Englanders, that means fresh snow.  Here in Vermont style is important, but not as important as multipurpose functional clothing.  Actual snow boots, down puffy jackets, hats, and even mittens are a must in winter and actually are in style right now.  Lots of magazines have been featuring brands like Sorel and LL Bean, which can be found in many of our parents closets.  Maybe raid your mom or dads closet in search of flannel, thick socks, old sweaters, and maybe even a old substantial pair of boots.  Stay warm and look good doing it!  xoxo Lolo

SUPERBOWL 2027071298

Today is Superbowl Sunday and I could probably care less, unless I get to see a tit with a 5 lb nipple ring.  But my roommate gives a shit; so I'll be ordering wings, drinking beer, and enjoying an excuse to be a fat lazy pig.  Also, heres hoping the Packers win, because some guy on the Steelers has two rings and Tom " I knock up two models at once" Brady has three.  But I'm from New York and shouldn't say things like that.  xoxx Lolo

tidbits

Here are some of my favorite things currently and eternally.  Currently, I am very into ankle boots with outrageous designs like these sam edelmans.  Eternally I love the Olsens they're my fav little muffins and are always on top of my fashion lists.  I love to travel and this vacation place in Indonesia looks divine.  Also, I love fur and I'm just dying for a knit fur vest, such as this Marc by Marc Jacobs one.
